The velvet fabric uses cocoon grade A raw silk, and also uses silk as a warp, cotton yarn as a weft, and uses silk or rayon to raise loops. Both warp and weft are first degummed or semi-degummed, dyed, twisted, and then woven. According to different uses, different raw materials can be used for weaving.
In addition to silk and rayon, it can also be woven from different raw materials such as cotton, polyester, viscose, polyester, and nylon. It has a smooth, lustrous feel and texture like velvet.

1. Flower Velvet
It is to cut part of the pile loops according to the designed pattern, finally cut them into fluff, and then form a pattern between the fluff and the loops. Flower velvet can also be divided into "bright flowers" and "dark flowers". Bright flowers are generally expressed by various patterns, and dark flowers are only solid-colored fabrics. There are various patterns of patterns, most of the flower velvet has a concave and convex feeling, and is generally dominated by dark colors.
2. Plain velvet
Refers to a fabric whose surface is all looped.such as solid velvet fabric
According to different processes:
1. Crumpled velvet
As the name suggests, it is a fabric made of pure velvet that has been twisted and crumpled by a machine. Its mottled surface will produce a good gloss effect, which is more common in fashion design.
2. Velvet Velvet
It is smoother in touch and shiny in appearance. It is produced by high-pressure flattening of ordinary velvet fluff, which has a higher fluff density than ordinary velvet.
3. Jacquard velvet
The pure velvet is trimmed according to the design pattern to remove part of the fluff, and the remaining fluff presents a three-dimensional jacquard pattern, which is jacquard velvet. Flowers and abstract lines are the most common jacquard patterns and are more commonly used in home decor.
